Correspondent, Tolulope Ogunjobi reports that the meeting had key industry operators in automobile, electrical electronics, heavy duty equipment, on line marketers and superstores.
The idea was to address complains by consumers in relation to guarantee and warranty of goods and services.

Director general of the consumer protection council said that the issue was important in commitment to governments drive towards diversification.
President of National association of Nigerian traders commended CPC for the programme but was also quick to bare the mind of the traders who are directly involved in all of these transactions.
The agreement here is that business operators need not see this move as just protecting consumer rights but as a push for the survival of businesses and to help make Nigerian products competitive in the global market place.
