Survivors of Iltaly Quake recount horrific event

    

Residents in Amatrice who survived a devastating earthquake in central Italy recounts the horrific sequence of events that changed their world.

Local residents have been taking vegetables and herbs from their gardens to cook food for everyone in the camp, but access to water is limited and the lands are drying up.

The magnitude 6.2 quake struck on August the 24th.

The official death toll currently stands at 290 with most of the dead coming from around the Amatrice area.
